Install & open

  • Download Box•E from the App Store or Google Play.
  • Open the app — no account needed to get started.
  • Your inventory is stored locally on your device.

Create a container

  • Go to Settings → Containers → Add Container.
  • Give it a name (e.g. "Electronics") and pick an icon.
  • Choose a field preset: Simple for quick capture, Standard for home inventory, or Advanced for everything.
  • Tap Create.

Add your first item

  • Tap the + button on any screen.
  • Choose your container, then fill in a name and photo.
  • Add optional details: brand, serial number, purchase date, value, etc. — only the fields you enabled.
  • Tap Save.

Find it again

  • Use the Search tab to search across all your items instantly.
  • Browse by container from the Boxes tab.
  • Scan a QR sticker or NFC tag on the item to open it directly.

Sync & share Optional

  • Sign in with Google from Settings → Account.
  • Enable Cloud Backup to protect your data and access it on other devices.
  • Invite family members via Settings → Household & Sharing.
